Testers on Google+

 


Google recently launched Google+ and it appears it is now open to all.  I have had a quick look at it and it seems promising.  At least more promising than Wave and Buzz, which for me just didn’t ignite any interest.  I’m even tempted to add Google+ as my homepage.

It personally gives me an opportunity to be really organised about the social information I choose to digest.  After 4 years (I think!) of using Twitter I feel my  habits have been hard to keep organised – going through and organising everyone I am following and/or those following me is not top of my massive to do list.  I’ve found myself not following new people, but instead adding them to lists.  Seems similar to how Google+’s Circles work.

So, of course I’m interested in finding Testers on Google+.  Are you one of these people?

    I’d rather not use a non-Google URL shortener (gplus.to might be useful but is not associated with the big G) but you can always use the simpler link to your profile using your Google username. Mine is:

    https://profiles.google.com/davidrutt

    That /should/ take you to my profile…

    Liking Google+ so far. It’s more like Twitter on steroids than Facebook without the annoying crap (and I think that’s a very good thing)
